- 3 Dimensional Echocardiogram – As the name suggests, this is an enhancement of the 2D Echo test, where instead of the 2-dimensional images, the doctors are able to get a 3-dimensional view of the heart and its related issue. This becomes much more effective, both for diagnostics and treatment.

You will be given a front open robe to change into.
Once done, the technician will ask you to lie on your left side, and a colourless gel will be applied to your chest. They will then move the transducer across the chest in order to get the required images. That’s all! Once they are happy with the image, you will be asked to clean up and change. And then you are done.
